Blizzard and Z-man Games have teamed up to launch "World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King-Pandemic System Board Game", which is now available for reservation, bringing the fun of one of the most famous MMORPGs of all time to a table near you.
The name of the game is very long; however, to be fair, the player gets a lot of rewards. Z-man has adopted their popular Pandemic series of games and adjusted the rules/settings to apply them to World of Warcraft. One of the adjustments is the addition of a "task" game mechanism, which does not exist in the original pandemic rule set. Missions are small missions where your hero can continue to fight monsters, destroy evil relics and usually promote the action of the game.
The oversized game board itself is scattered with iconic locations in the world of Azeroth, and players familiar with the game will know and love it. If you like figs, you will like this game. Elaborately crafted and painted figures of Thrall, Varian Wrynn, and Sylvanas Windrunner are an important part of the rest of the game.
You can now pre-order the game on the Z-man game website or the official Blizzard store page. It is designed for 1-5 players aged 14 and above, and the running time of each game is estimated to be 45-60 minutes.
